I'm the co-author who has the pleasure of collaborating with Sybrand JvR on these delightful books. My background? I've been a teacher for the past 15 years, and for a decade of that, I joyfully taught Sunday school in Cape Town, South Africa. It was so much more than teaching; it was a passion that filled my heart.

Now, as a parent to two wonderful grown-up kids, I've taken my experiences and love for nurturing young minds to a new avenue – writing books.

Each story and rhyme in our books is a reflection of the lessons and values I cherished while teaching my Sunday school students. I always had them in my thoughts, imagining what would inspire and guide them in their Christian journey with Jesus.

Writing these books has been an enriching journey for me, combining my love for teaching with my passion for storytelling. I aimed to create books that not only entertain but also impart meaningful lessons and values.

My hope is that these stories resonate with children and parents alike, fostering a love for reading and a deeper connection with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
