WELCOME TO MY AUTHOR PAGE!

I have been writing stories since I was a young girl. More importantly, I have been READING them. In those stories, I have gone places, and learned so many things! I am inspired to write when I come across a picture or situation I find in nature. This story really began in one of my classrooms. A little stinkbug came in and created quite a ruckus! No one wanted to sit next to this tiny little insect. From there, the gift of my imagination took over, and Stinky Steve was created. I invite you, dear readers, to use your imagination when you learn. Afterall, wondering IS the first step to innovation and invention.

I am a retired teacher and a wife, mother, and grandmother. I love writing, reading (especially to children), hiking, line-dancing, and teaching seniors to stay flexible and keep fit. My husband, Steve, has been the love of my life for 46 years--and counting!
