Kathlene Brown

Kathlene Brown can usually be found reading a book or writing poetry and short stories. Writing a book about her childhood, however, was always on her bucket list. She and her older sister Carolyn and younger sister Linda grew up in West Texas in an era when children played outside all day during summers, walked 6 blocks to and from school, and watched black and white television. She still resides in her hometown along with her husband, children and grandchildren.

CaroKatlin is her first book to be published. It is a beautifully written story about a day in the life of a middle child, and how unexpected visitors helped her very bad day turn into a wonderful day.
