Mark Jones

Dr. Mark Jones is the prayer pastor and an elder at Mannahouse in Portland, Oregon. Mannahouse is a thriving, multi-site church with worldwide influence that Mark has been a part of for over forty years. Besides overseeing the prayer ministries, he has taught a prayer and evangelism class at Portland Bible College and assists in the leadership of Breakthrough, a recovery program. Mark loves the local church and is passionate about seeing people develop a vital relationship with their Creator.

Mark did his undergraduate work at Oregon State University, where he received a degree in science. He went on to graduate from Oregon Health Science University with a D.M.D. and worked as a dentist in the Portland area for thirty-six years until his retirement.

Mark enjoys cycling and other health and fitness activities. Like any good Northwest native, he loves a cup of coffee with friends. He lives in Portland with his wife Susan. They have four adult children and six grandchildren (and counting!).
