David Eymann has spent most of his life re-examining prophecy. He does not just re-hash and tweak the prevailing beliefs about the last days, but rather challenges many of the foundational tenets of American eschatology. With persuasive clarity his book will challenge you to re-consider what you have been taught about the end times. They are rapidly developing, and we will endure great turmoil. The rapture is not the next event on God's timeline.
David graduated from Grand Canyon University in 1975, and from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon in 1978. It was in the New Testament Greek classes during seminary that he first developed the burning desire to discover, on his own, accurate interpretations of the prophecies of the end times. He grew weary of being told what to believe, and “please don’t disagree”.
David served as an associate pastor in churches in Tucson, Arizona and in Gladstone, Oregon. He then teamed up with a few brave men to start a church-plant in the Parkrose district of Portland, Oregon. Then he spent 16 years at Eagle Fern Camp as one of the directors, reaching children, teens, and adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now retired, he lives on a 20-acre tree farm in Estacada, Oregon, while still spending a few hours each day studying and writing.
David’s wife, Carol, worked as an RN for many years, while still managing to raise six children. She was also a huge encouragement and help in writing this book.
