Cinoma (a pen name) is an environmental scientist who has worked on measures and technology to save endangered species and threatened ecosystems. But writing has always been a part of her life—from short stories to novels to screenplays. What else are you going to do when you’re stuck on the top of a mountain in Chile or on a beach in Peru babysitting the latest attempt to solve someone’s pollution problems?
