Narayan Lal Panwar, an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at MPUAT, Udaipur. He holds a PhD from the Centre for Energy Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and specializes in energy and exergy analyses of thermal systems, energy efficiency, and management. Dr. Panwar is actively involved in the design and development of improved cookstoves, biomass gasifiers, pyrolyzers, and solar thermal devices for industrial and rural applications. He has authored more than 170 papers in international journals, published 18 books on renewable energy, and holds 10 patents. Dr. Panwar has been recognized with several awards, including the “Prakritik Urja Puraskar” from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India for his exceptional book on Alternative Energy Resources. In addition, he was awarded the “ Shrimati Vijay-Usha Sodha Research Award”; from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2014 and the Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award in 2018 from the Government of Rajasthan. According to Stanford University USA report undersigned, based on citations metrics, is amongst the top 2% of scientists across all disciplines of research in the world.
