Chris Stahl

Chris Stahl lives in Poughkeepsie, NY with her spouse and a rotating cast of grandchildren, sons, sons' partners, other family, and friends. A Bennington College graduate she studied with Stanley Edgar Hyman and Alan Cheuse, before turning to medicine. She practiced and taught pediatrics and adolescent medicine in Chicago, Illinois where she also wrote and directed teen theater for ten years. She continued her creative studies with ImprovOlympic, Chicago Dramatists, and Scott Whitehair (story-telling). Upon retirement in 2015, she resumed her attempt to hike the Appalachian Trail which she completed in 2017.
