Zeke Schein

Zeke Schein is the author of Portrait of a Phantom: The Story of Robert Johnson's Lost Photograph, and Suddenly the Night and Other Stories. He has been interviewed by the New York Times, Vanity Fair, American Songwriter, Fretboard Journal, and Netflix. In his career as a guitar salesman at Matt Umanov Guitars and Rudy's Music, Zeke has sold guitars to Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Steve Earle, Paul Stanley, Elvis Costello, Pete Townshend, Carlos Santana, Jeff Tweedy, Sean Lennon, Willow Smith, Machine Gun Kelly, Marc Ribot, Bill Frisell, Rosanne Cash, John Leventhal, Dion DiMucci, John Hammond, Sam Shepard, Johnny Depp, Jack White, Citizen Cope, T-Bone Burnett, John Mayer, Jackson Browne, Kate Hudson, and other talented musicians. Zeke lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Cathy and their cat Luna.
