Michael T. Gowen

I am not your average Brit, as I lived for 25 years in Brussels, Belgium, where I worked for an international government organisation and was in leadership of Brussels Vineyard church. My writing reflects both my governmental and church leadership experience. A prime motivation for my writing is to encourage people to engage with God through reading the Bible showing how books 2,500 years old are relevant today.

This summer I will have been married 50 years - a medal for my wife! I have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. 10 years ago I took early retirement and we came to live in the West Midlands, where we are members of Birmingham Vineyard church and are encouraging, training and supporting leaders.

I am reasonably fluent in French, Spanish, Dutch and Italian, and have some German.
