John Boccuzzi Jr. has been making a positive impact in business across sales, marketing, and customer experience leadership roles for over twenty-five years. His TEDx talk “I was Seduced by Exceptional Customer Service” was ranked the most popular video to learn customer experience lessons from by Omoto in 2018, and one of the best customer service training videos online by HubSpot in 2021.
Early in his career, John became fascinated by how impactful exceptional customer experience can be on a business. From his early days at small local businesses to larger enterprises like Edible Arrangements, where he supported over 1,200 franchised locations and millions of customers in North America, John has always put customer and employee experience first.
John has worked on delivering exceptional customer experiences with some of the largest manufacturers, retailers, software providers, and agencies in the world including Amazon, Ahold, Atos, Genpact, LTIMindtree, Heineken, IBM, Bacardi, Procter & Gamble, GSK and Pfizer, Google, Shutterfly, Café Press, Fandango, T-Mobile, David’s Bridal, Destination Maternity, The Children’s Place, General Mills, Colgate, Heinz, GE, Nestle Purina, and Verizon.
He is currently a partner and sits on the executive board as the president of ISG Research, one of the largest research and advisory firms globally, cohost of the John & Ola podcast, and cofounder of BD Provisions, a specialty bulk food and coffee roasting house that is now being franchised across the United States.
John gives keynotes and facilitates workshops about how to deliver exceptional customer experience around the globe.
When John is not roasting coffee at BD Provisions, hosting a podcast, or giving a keynote on customer experience, he enjoys spending time with his two amazing children and his incredible wife, Cynthia.
