Kerri Cunningham

Hi, I’m Kerri Cunningham, a mum, artist and writer from Preston in Lancashire, and I live in a small village with my husband and three children. I love nothing more than being at home and spending time with my family. I have been drawing my whole life but never dreamt that I could make this my full-time job. I now spread joy online with my social media platform as Murphy’s Sketches, sharing simple sketches and poems about being a mum and day-to-day life. I also design my own prints and greeting cards and have gone on to work with brands like Waitrose, The BBC, Little Dish and The Works. I write a monthly column with Lancashire Life magazine. “There is a Season” is my first children’s poetry book, out September 2024 I hope you will enjoy reading it with your children! A Book to Brighten Your Day: Murphy’s Sketches is my first book and I hope very much that it puts a smile on the face of whoever picks it up.
