Vernon Pearce

Vernon Pearce spent a varied and interesting career in international shipping and logistics, during which time he travelled a great deal. He and his wife Celia also visited many interesting countires on holiday, especially in the Far East.

Vernon retired early from corporate life at the age of 50 and had a second career as a self- emplyed consultant, his final assignment being Town Initiatives Manager for the market town of Alton in Hampshire, UK - one which he describes as probably the most rewarding of his career. He also became a radio presenter in his spare time.

In 2007 he retired to Spain where he lives in the town of Orba in the north of the Costa Blanca
