Tom Wein

Tom Wein is the founder and director of the IDinsight Dignity Initiative, building respectful development in partnership with nonprofits across the Global South.

In 2021, he testified to the UK Parliament’s International Development Committee on the need for a dignity agenda in development. In 2023, he was Visiting Associate at the University of Notre Dame. He has spent 14 years as a consultant in evidence for international development. He has lived in Kenya, Uganda and now London, with his wife, Rachel Strohm, his son Oliver, and his elderly dog Bailey.
