Eva Ehler

Eva Ehler is a Danish artist, illustrator, and author of books for both children and adults. She has a background as a graphic designer, Reiki healer, and SoulFlow therapist. She created the "Heavenheroes" universe and publishes her books and coloring books through it.

She has a deep interest in fairytales, particularly fascinated by the archetypal language within them. As she says, "People have always used stories, myths, and fairytales to teach new generations about our values and ideals. Fairytales are important because they contain guidance for our psychological development and prepare us to go out and conquer the world, so we can become heroes in our own lives. When children immerse themselves in fairy tales, it helps them recognize who they are and how they fit into the world."

Her profound desire is to provide children with tools to preserve their imagination and help adults connect with their inner child.

By working with watercolors, colored pencils, ink pens, iPad, and Photoshop, Eva loves to create imaginative illustrations and characters with a whimsical and narrative touch. Nature, shamanism, SoulFlow, inner experiences, and the people around her primarily influence Eva's artworks and writings, as well as precious memories from her childhood with challenging parents and how to live in her own magical world.

Eva has also illustrated other authors' books. When time allows, Eva shares her work on Instagram.

Eva lives with her husband and a dog near the beach and the forest, close to Aarhus in Denmark. Together, they have two children, a boy and a girl. One has already left the nest, and the other is getting ready to fly away.
