David Parish

Born and raised in New Jersey, David majored in Psychology at Dickinson College and holds an MA and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from New York University. Out of grad school, he worked at the University of Minnesota as a post-doc for three years before pursuing a largely entrepreneurial career in technology. Now a full-time writer, working on his second novel, David travels regularly between Minneapolis, Steamboat Springs, and Palm Springs, is an avid guitar player, a middling speaker of Italian and an enthusiastic tennis player when his various aches and pains allow. David and his wife Gabrielle lived in Italy for six months in 2022, where he researched his first novel, called The Twitter Gospels, took language classes, limited his gelato consumption to two portions per day, and tried, somewhat successfully, to slow the pace of his day-to-day.
