Xin Gu

Xin Gu is a writer and researcher in the field of cultural and media studies. She is an Associate Professor at Monash University in Australia and Director of the Master of Cultural and Creative Industries. An expert on culture and sustainable development in Asia, she works for UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of Diversity of Cultural Expression. She has published widely on urban cultures, cultural work, creative entrepreneurship, cultural and creative industries policy, media cities, maker culture and cyberculture.
