Briar Hill

I'm a Canadian author born and raised in Southern, Ontario. I've graduated twice from college in both Business Administration and Journalism. in 2012 I married the love of my life, Marion, but she passed away nine years later due to an underlying heart condition compounded by diabetes. Since then I've continued to work in accounting and occasionally submit articles to local and national newspapers.

A Church in Ipswich is my first novel. It was started in 2020 as a one-page story idea about an old church before exploding into the massive (and, I hope, entertaining) novel it ended up being. Unfortunately my bride didn't live long enough to see it completed, though she was very enthusiastic about it, and even edited parts of it before her passing. It is primarily dedicated to her.

I'm currently working on the outline of a prequel, tentatively called "Dark Angel," which will be set before the events of A Church in Ipswich, and should be completed before the end of the year.
