Hi, I'm Hillary, and I have been told I spend too much time in the poetry section in bookstores. I don't think such a thing is possible.

I have been in love with poetry from a very young age, being introduced to the likes of John Keats, Lord Byron, Sylvia Plath, Pablo Neruda, Maya Angelou, James Baldwin, Walt Whitman, Seamus Heaney, Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf, Emily Dickinson, and more. I could keep naming my favorite poets, but I've been told I should keep this bio to 1,000 characters max. I am a former library kid, and found my way to poetry as naturally as one falls asleep at night.

With my debut poetry book, "Seasons," I bring readers along on a journey, and allow them to catch a glimpse of my life. It is my sincerest hope that my poetry touches those who have shared experiences similar to mine, and helps them feel less alone in the world. I am thrilled to share this work with you.
