B. R. Maryse resides on a charming farm located north of Nashville, Tennessee. She takes pleasure in the tranquil rural lifestyle, spending quality time with her soon-to-be husband, Mark, as well as enjoying the pets and wildlife on the property. Books and writing serve as a vital outlet for her to pursue her lifelong dreams and goals. Drawing inspiration from her farm and life experiences, she weaves captivating stories. In 2019, a transformative trip to Malta and Gozo inspired her deeply soul-filled debut novel, Isabel, Awaken. This publication is the realization of a childhood dream, representing a journey of second chances and has opened the gates for many other books to come, including the one waiting in the drawer.

Books filled with magical adventures, magic welding heroines, characters I dreamt of and inspired me, all provided escapism helped me survive a difficult and often dangerous childhood. Of all the characters and adventures, I enjoyed Jo of “Little Women” the most. Jo represented a strong, independent woman-girl who sought to be an author at a time in history when only men published. She represented the determination of women and the oppression.

B. R. Maryse explores different genre types and realizes now the Isabel, Awaken: The Goddess Chronicles is indeed Fantasy Romance for both elements are vital to the storyline. The rest of the this series will be written with Fantasy and Romance as co-genre with each imparting important elements to the storylines, the tension and the resolution of each book in this series.

Ms. Maryse is also working on an another book inspired by a magical tree on her property guiding this new story of maghikal beings, pixies, both Light and Dark Fae. It is the author's intent both books will be released later this year. Stay tuned!
