Paula Stoneback

Paula Stoneback was born in Missouri, but she moved to Pennsylvania when she was 12, so she considers herself a northeast kind of person! She is the middle child of five children, but she is not sure if she has middle-child syndrome or not!

Paula has always loved languages - English, Spanish and German, so it comes as no surprise that she has always wanted to write stories. Her other passions are photography and sports. She owned a busy wedding photography studio for almost 20 years before she retired her business, but she is still involved in nature photography. She decided to go back to school late in life, get a degree in accounting and became a full-time accountant. She loves writing children's picture books to share with all of the kids she gets to meet. "It's truly wonderful to see their reactions and feel their joy", she says when she reads to them.

Paula resides in Green Lane, PA, with her wife, Debra. They have had some very special dogs in their lives whom all appear in Paula's books! Her book, Mighty Madison, is near and dear to their hearts. They love all of their 4-legged kids!
