Mr Geoff Thompson

Geoff Thompson has been involved in Software Testing since the late 80's. He is currently a Vice President at Qualitest, specifically responsible for overseeing all Qualitest Banking accounts. He has amassed a lot of experience having worked in QA for over 35 years. He is a founder member of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB), the TMMi Foundation, and the UK and Ireland Testing Board and is a passed Vice President of the ISTQB. He is currently Chairman of the UK and Ireland Testing Board and the TMMi Foundation. Geoff received the EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award in 2008, and also the European Software Testing Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. He co-authored the BCS book Software Testing - An ISEB/ISTQB foundation and is a recognized international speaker, keynoting in many conferences, and was the chair of the EuroSTAR conference in 2011.
