William Horne

Faculty Emeritus William C. Horne (aka Professor Hardcore) retired fully in 2009 after teaching thirty-six years at Salisbury University in Maryland and before that at University of Michigan-Flint. I recieved my Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and my BA from Gettysburg College in 1964. Most of my childhood was spent in Norristown, Pennsylvania where my father was a Lutheran clergyman. Now 81 years old, I have been married to Susan since 1963 and have two children (Shelley and David) and four granddaughters. I enjoy walking, swimming, and kayaking and the play the euphonium in two local groups.
