Robert Allen

Robert Allen currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Salem Avenue Baptist Church (Rolla, MO). Previously, he served as the Associate Pastor of New Life Baptist Church (Davenport, IA) while also serving pastors and churches in Eastern Iowa as part of the Pastor and Church Support team of the Baptist Convention of Iowa. He holds a Master of Theological Studies with emphasis in preaching and pastoral ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in English from Missouri Baptist University. Robert has served in some form of ministry, either volunteer or vocationally, since 1997. Outside of his work in the church, he enjoys reading, the St. Louis sports scene, hiking, golf, pickleball, and good coffee.

He and his wife, Mandy, have two daughters, Lucy and Daisy. The Allen's love the writings of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, S.D. Smith, and Andrew Peterson and particularly enjoy '50s and '60s era musical theater.
