James Childers

James Childers is an author, creator, songwriter, entrepreneur, and Christian media producer whose work explores faith, purpose, human dignity, and the systems that shape modern life.

His newest novel, The Human Variable, is a techno-thriller about predictive artificial intelligence, private equity, healthcare, institutional power, and the dangerous moment when human life is reduced to financial usefulness. The story follows Ryan Kessler, a private equity analyst who discovers that the system did not fail a vulnerable patient — it calculated her.

James is also the author of Christian teaching and discipleship works including Who Is Jesus and Why It Matters and I Believe—Now What Do I Do?, as well as the children’s book Why God Made Me: A Heartfelt Journey of Faith, Love and God’s Purpose for Little Ones.

Through Bravo Zulu Media, James creates Christian teaching, music, video content, and practical discipleship resources designed to equip the Church with knowledge and power to live what we believe. His broader creative work includes Levi Walker, Psalm & Ember, Firefly Praise, and Thunder of Glory.

Across fiction, theology, children’s books, music, and media, James writes from a single conviction: human life has value beyond the numbers assigned to it, and faith must become something we live — not merely something we claim.
