Cynthia Harris is the author of a new historical fiction novel "When Birds Fly." Born and raised in New York, Cindy worked in a local grocery store for thirty-five years and worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. Writing came for Cindy later in life after the loss of her daughter, Victoria. A few years after her first book "How Did I Miss That????," an emotional support book for bereaved parents who have lost children to suicide, Cindy began her second book. She quickly fell in love with story-telling and attributes her new passion to her late daughter who was an avid reader.
