Albert Payson Terhune

Trudy Monti (Trudy Thomas Monteith) is a retired legal assistant who lives in Manchester, Missouri with her husband, Harry Monti.

Trudy served as National Secretary of the Society of American Magicians for 10 years and is currently serving as Midwest Regional Vice President of the Society. She is also a Trustee of the S.A.M. Magic Endowment Fund, a position she has held for 25+ years. Trudy was awarded Associate of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star by the Magic Circle (London).

Trudy and her husband, Harry Monti, are co-Founders of the S.A.M. Magic for Special Education Program and established the Harry and Trudy Monti College Scholarship Fund which to date has awarded 12 college scholarships to young magicians.

Trudy is currently researching the history of magic in St. Louis. Her works include:
