Faiqa Mansab is a Pakistani writer. Her debut novel This House of Clay and Water was published by Penguin India in 2017 to much critical and popular acclaim. It was also translated into Turkish and published by Dedalus Press Turkey. It was published as audiobook by Blackstone Publishers USA. It has been optioned for screen. The book was Amazon Editor’s Pick 2018, Amazon Best Women’s International Fiction 2018 and was shortlisted for the Getz Pharma Literary Award and German Consulate Peace Prize 2018.
Faiqa has contributed two stories to a charity anthology published in 2024 by Spellbound Books UK. Her second novel The Sufi Storyteller is coming out with Neem Tree Press and Penguin India 2025. She lives in Lahore with her family.
Faiqa has been awarded the British Chevening Scholarship and the Saari Fellowship. She has an MFA in creative writing from Kingston University London and an MA in gender studies from Birkbeck University London.
