Reena Merchant

Reena Merchant is currently on the User Experience leadership team at Google. Previously, she was Sr. User Experience Manager at Sony PlayStation, Sr. Customer Experience Manager at Citrix, and has designed for Rogers Communications, CGI Group, Bell Canada, and Ontario Power Generation. She holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, a specialty in Digital Graphics Design, and an MBA in Design Strategy. Reena is the founder of OurVoice, a community-benefit organization dedicated to strengthening self-esteem and authentic presence. Her work and community contributions have been featured in Silicon Valley Modern Luxury, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Metro News, and on MuchMusic. In 2018, she was selected as a finalist for the Woman of the Year award by Women in IT Silicon Valley. She is also a visual artist, and her artwork has been exhibited at venues including the Royal Ontario Museum and the Canadian National Exhibition.
