D J Thacker

David J (D J) Thacker has worked in the theatre for most of his life. He is the sole author of two novellas - THE RED HOUSE (longlisted for a British Fantasy Society Award) and THE LAST RAT CHILD - and a novel, ONCE: A BELMOUTH TALE. He has also written a play for Young People - S.O.T. SAVE OUR THEATRE - which was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2001, and has penned the libretto for a modern oratorio, first performed in 2000. As D J Thacker, he has also written two books with S Blockley: the historical story THE WELSH HERCULES and a collection of short stories based around the people who use the Glasgow Subway, TUNNEL VISIONS.

His latest book, again with G S Blockley, is THE DEVIL'S SHARE, the first in a series of murder mysteries featuring the amateur sleuths, Morgan & Mhyrren.
