Randy Herman

Randy Herman is an American actor and author, known for Pirates of the Caribbean and his six-part children's book series titled Love, as well as the six-part series Mandy and Andy's Story Time.

He is currently adapting the book series into a children's TV show.

As a single father, his daughter inspired him to write children's books by reading to her and telling her stories.

He noted the positive effect it had on her. The process not only brought them closer together, but also bonded them during the time spent reading together before bedtime.

In addition to bonding time, it expanded her vocabulary, which helped her learn to read and write. This made reading on her own more fun during her preschool years.
