Colin Swift

Colin Swift was born in Kwa-Zulu, Natal Province in north-western South Africa. He emigrated to the United States as a small child eventually landing in Southern California in the mid 1950’s. He honed his writing skills with the help of such artists as Alan Ginsberg, George Carlin, Elie Wiesel, and Maya Angelou to name a few. He is a published poet and the author of both fiction and non-fiction books and is a recording artist. Colin is an award winning screenwriter, a film director and producer, and is a produced musical playwright. Always on the lookout for musical collaborators, Colin is currently working on his first full opera as well as his memoirs covering his travels and loves throughout the world.
