Remi Recchia

Remi Recchia is a trans poet, essayist, and editor from Kalamazoo, Michigan. A five-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Remi's work has appeared in dozens of nationally ranked literary magazines. He is the author of two full-length poetry collections, three chapbooks, one children’s book, and the editor of Transmasculine Poetics: Filling the Gap in Literature & the Silences Around Us (Sundress Publications, 2024). Remi has served as a grant reviewer for the Poetry Foundation and was named the inaugural recipient of Lambda Literary’s Denneny Award for Editorial Excellence. He holds an MFA in poetry and a PhD in English.
