David C. Moravec

As a seasoned business executive with 40 years of experience under my belt, I have embraced the new title of Author in a late-in-life discovery. Echoes Across the Tracks is my first published book, but hopefully not my last.

My background includes being a child of divorce in the Chicago area; my parents split when I was in 3rd grade. After many moves in childhood, settling into high school and a degree in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL) gave me foundational stability that allowed for a fruitful business and personal life.

Now married for a second time and looking back at my first 60+ years on the planet, I am SO looking forward to the final third of my life in a very freeing way and asking God, "What's next?". My past includes so many leadership and sales roles that have influenced my decision-making and ability to mentor others into leadership roles. The printing industry led me to own my own business and transition into educational and H/R technology, which then presented me with an option to accept my current position as President/CEO of a chamber of commerce in suburban Cincinnati, Ohio.

My consultative approach as Sales Manager For Rent has created a fractional sales leadership business that includes entrepreneurial coaching with clients who have appreciated a unique and customized solution while being able to give back in various volunteer capacities, including tutoring 3rd-5th graders with special challenges.
