Barbara Caracciolo

Born and raised in Rome, to a family that encompasses the whole of Italy (from north to south), Barbara Caracciolo has cultivated a lifelong interest in traditional Italian cooking and baking. Her academic pursuits led her to achieve a double MSc in Psychology and Epidemiology and a PhD in Medicine from the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Sweden. After publishing several scientific works, Barbara decided to fully dedicate herself to her primary passion for Italian cuisine. She opened an Italian bakery-café in Stockholm and went on to publish three extensive cookbooks with the American publisher Cider Mill Press. Barbara is currently working on her fourth book with a new publisher.
