Isobel Birch

Isobel Birch, the author of Belverdon, is a retired teacher having worked for many years with students requiring a high level of support for their specific educational needs.

She has written eight romantic novels in total, Belverdon being the first she has chosen to share beyond family and friends.

With a deep love of the English language and its rich vocabulary she enjoys reading a good well plotted story, having a particular affection for historical romance and crime thrillers.

Her interests beyond reading and writing are enjoying the arts - ballet, opera, good drama and classical music, as well as watching documentaries and selected sports.

She lives in Devon and whenever possible spends time with her family who also live in the southwest of England.
