Robb S. Wetmore

Robb was born in Wyoming, where he lived until graduating from the University of Wyoming. For the past couple decades he has lived in Oklahoma where he earned his Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is married and has two adult childern.

Robb has always enjoyed science fiction. His first memory of seeing any movie in a theater was Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. Since that day he has been an avid Star Wars fan in all of its media throughout the vast Star Wars Universe. His fascination with the genre does not end there. Over the years Robb has spent many hours reading, watching, and playing video games out of the science fiction genre.

While Robb has dabbled in creative writing as a source of expression, the Shadow of Light: A Seana Byrne Novel, is the first complete work he has published.

Robb is not content to sit around on the couch. Growing up in Wyoming he had nature at his finger tips and could be found exploring the terrain around his home town and later, in university, the Medicine Bow Mountains and Laramie Range.

Robb was able to reconnect with nature in Oklahoma once his youngest son started in Scouting BSA and the two of them travelled the country on a variety of camping adventures.

He draws just as much inspiration in his writing from nature as he does from the works of fiction he has enjoyed over the years.

Robb has spent his professional career in healthcare, never as a practitioner, but behind the scenes, where he has used his creativity, curiosity, and love of technology to move healthcare forward by employing digital health techniques and technologies to improve the healthcare experience for patients and providers. He currently works as the Director of Digital Healthcare at a Federally Qualified Health Center.
