Shawn David McGhee

Shawn David McGhee (PhD, Temple University) is a political historian of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century America and educator in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. He is author of No Longer Subjects of the British King: The Political Transformation of Royal Subjects to Republican Citizens, 1774-1776, and regular contributor to the Journal of the American Revolution. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Jacquelyn, and their three children.
