Amanda Armsey

Amanda is called “Mama” by two beautiful daughters, and if you ask her, she will say she is raising warriors. She calls Metro Detroit, Michigan “home,” but her heart is sprinkled all over the world from years of travel, living abroad, and mission work.

After building a career in Dual Language Immersion education, the Lord plucked Amanda out of traditional schooling and brought her home. This replanting opened the door for her to pursue her ultimate loves - writing, relationship, and ministry - and came with the fulfillment of a pipe dream: homeschooling her daughters in their second language, Spanish.

When she isn’t homeschooling or doing all the mom things, you can find her somewhere outdoors, buried in a book, filling journals, adventuring with friends, or in the kitchen. She is passionate about people, has a heart for women, and spends more time laughing than anything else.

Amanda is passionate about doing life with her girls, so where she is, they usually are, too. From hikes to street evangelism to bike rides to serving the homeless, the three of them live on mission for Jesus and love every second of it. She is determined to cultivate radical boldness in her daughters, which means living with abandon herself. In their down time, they enjoy having dance parties, cooking and baking, bike riding, snuggling up on the couch with a book, and having their weekly “girls’ nights.”
