Apostle John H. Lucas Jr. has been in ministry since July 11, 1990. He is deeply passionate about seeing the body of Christ function in their God-given authority and power, drawing inspiration from the book of Acts. Over the past three decades, Apostle John has traveled extensively, spending over 20 years ministering in the Philippines, as well as four years each in Hong Kong, Singapore, and other countries, including the USA.
Currently, Apostle John serves as an overseer of three non-denominational ministries. These include Gloryland Revival Center Int. Min. in Sacramento, CA, located at 8501 Larchmont Oak Way, Sacramento, CA 95828, as well as Gloryland Revival Center Int. Min. Gusa in the Philippines, and Gloryland Revival Center in Tacurong, Philippines.
In November 12, 2017, Apostle John married Marites Tamayo, and they reside together at 1 Sea Horse Street, Villa Ernesto Phase 2 Gusa, Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, Philippines 9000. Apostle John holds an A.A. Degree and AB.A. Degree in Biblical Studies, which enriches his ministry with a solid foundation of knowledge.
Apostle John was previously married to his late wife, Christine, and together they had two children, Garry Watson Lucas and Twanna Lucas, who currently reside in Sacramento, CA.
