Tara Madison Avery

Tara Madison Avery is a cartoonist, illustrator, editor, and the publisher of Stacked Deck Press, an imprint devoted to comics and prose of LGBTQAIU+ interest. She is known for publications such as the Ignatz Award-winning We're Still Here: An All-Trans Comics Anthology and the LGBTQ+ Historical Coloring Book Series. In addition to her own publications, Avery's work has appeared in such comics anthologies as Anything That Loves: Comics Beyond Gay and Straight and The Out Side: Trans and Nonbinary Comics. She lives in Southern California.
