Brian Hull

Brian has written two textbooks: Shaping Canada (2011) and Global Politics for the IB Diploma (2024). He is also the author of InThinking's Global Politics teacher support site. In 2022, he completed his doctorate in education from the University of Calgary, where he wrote his dissertation on enacting care-based education in the written and taught IBDP Global Politics course.

Brian is an experienced IB teacher and coordinator with nearly 25 years of experience in the Diploma Programme. He is also an IB Global Politics senior examiner, workshop leader, and workshop designer.

Brian is a Global Politics teacher and IBDP Coordinator at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. He has taught the IB's Theory of Knowledge course and IB History in private international schools in Dubai and Kuwait and at a public school in Winnipeg, Canada.
