Sidney A. Shapiro

Sid Shapiro is the Frank U. Fletcher Chair in Administrative Law, Wake Forest University. His books include How Government Built America (2024), Administrative Competence: Reimagining Administrative Law (2020), and Achieving Democracy: The Future of Progressive Regulation (2014). He has been a distinguished visitor at Oxford University: University of Padova, Italy; The School For Policy and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), University of Indiana Bloomington; and North Carolina University Chapel Hill. He is a founding member and Vice-President of the Center for Progressive Reform.
