Jaime Esteva

I’m a retired U.S. Army officer and civilian intelligence community professional. I was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in New Jersey. I have a B.A. in history and international relations from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and a master’s in Latin American Studies from Georgetown. For 37 years I served in a wide variety of assignments and locations, mostly related to intelligence collection and analysis. My work in the Army and as a civilian in the Defense Intelligence Agency spanned Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and topics such as nuclear weapons, terrorism, and transnational organized crime. I have two grown sons (both graduated from the University of Virginia – Go Hoos!), and I live in Virginia with my wife, Lisa.
