Aaron grew up on a diet of 80’s and 90’s action movies from the local video store. Worshipping the likes of Schwarzenegger, Stallone and Van Damme as a kid.

He loves all kinds of detective fiction. Lawrence Block is a personal favourite. He’s also partial to the work of James Crumley and Laird Barron.

City of Night is the first in the Mark Bender Series. The second, Architects of Fear, will drop at the end of 2024. Then the third, Nest of Vipers, will follow in 2025.
