Prof. Dr Tobias Gutmann

Prof. Dr. Tobias Gutmann is an Assistant Professor at EBS Business School, specializing in innovation management within technology-driven transformations. He co-leads the Institute for Technology, Innovation & Customer Centricity (TICC) and the Siemens Product Innovation Lab, where he integrates strategic innovation management, technology management, and entrepreneurship.

Tobias brings a decade of experience from the corporate world, significantly impacting business development, strategy, and innovation management. He has helped multiple multinational corporations redesign their innovation strategies for lasting impact.

A seasoned advisor and academic, Tobias has enriched his expertise through roles in Germany, Spain, Denmark, the UK, and the US. He holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, International Management, and a Ph.D. from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. His academic career has included positions as a visiting scholar at Copenhagen Business School and UC Berkeley.
