Daniel Cavalcante is a developer with over 15 years of experience in Frontend, Backend, and Mobile development. His journey with technology began in 1993 when he started using computers as a kid, just as the World Wide Web was emerging. He has a degree in journalism and, as a self-taught developer, loves to write about his experiences learning to program.

Throughout his career, Daniel has worked with companies across Brazil, the United States, and Europe. His portfolio includes creating websites and applications for international brands such as Johnnie Walker, Mattel, and major Brazilian companies like Sadia.

Daniel has also shared his knowledge through various speaking engagements, like React CWB. He has worked with startups like Osmosis, which was later acquired by Elsevier, the world's largest scientific publisher. Today, Daniel continues to work in the tech industry through his consultancy company, Lightcode.
