Amy J. Chase holds degrees from Drew University (Ph.D., Hebrew Bible), Fuller Seminary (M.A., Biblical Studies), and Wheaton College (B.A., English Literature). She has taught Bible, biblical interpretation, and biblical Hebrew at seminaries in the United States and Canada. Her research interests include biblical narratives, as well as dialogical, feminist, and psychological criticisms, with particular focus on the Bible and emotions. An active member in the Society of Biblical Literature, Chase is also the author of “Feeling Womb-ey: The Presence and Significance of Emotion in Proverbs 31:1-9.”
