Welcome!

I’m Denise D. Parker, wife, mother, grandmother, retired RN, ladies Bible teacher, and child at heart! Retirement has allowed treasured time with family, church, nature, and for writing!

I’ve been writing since I was a girl, always dreaming of becoming an author! That dream came true in 2021, publishing two biographical books: “Remember Not,” under my pen name of Hannah Lake, about learning to forgive the “unforgivable;” and “Witness at the Gates of Heaven,” about seeing God reach out to those so close to dying, as a hospice RN.

I was delighted to write a fairy tale, “The Enchanting Tale of Ivory Rose," and thrilled to publish it here on Amazon in early 2024. Happy with the ease of publishing, I also wrote another book, in December 2024, "From Flower Power to Amazing Grace." It takes place in the sixties, when I was growing up, the events and music of that time, and how I found my way.

My hope is that my books will be a blessing, and encouragement for you.
