Dan Attoe is a painter and sculptor who’s been showing his work around the world for twenty years. He grew up in mostly rural parts of Washington, Idaho, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He studied art at the University of Wisconsin - Marathon County in Wausau, Wisconsin, then UW – Madison, and during that time worked at a metal framed window factory called Wausau Metals. He got his master’s in fine art in drawing and painting from the University of Iowa – Iowa City in 2004 where he also took classes at the Writer’s Workshop. Dan currently lives in Washougal, Washington where he runs a tattoo shop, makes paintings, and designs neon sculptures that show with galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago.
